The Zipline Tour
-
Q. What are the zipline stats?
A. Our guided canopy ziplines vary in length from 150 ft to 1,000 ft. The highest point is 150 ft off the ground in the middle of our 1,000 ft zipline. Our zipline tour takes approximately two hours to complete, and includes over 3,200 ft of zipline. The maximum speed is over 35 miles/hr. The Big Zip is 2400 ft long with speeds of up to 70km/hr
-
Q. How do you stop?
A. Our guides stop all guests on the canopy tours using a re-directed brake system. The Big Zip has an automatic brake system
-
Q. I’m really scared. How do I know if I can do it?
A. We have designed our zipline course to begin with the Trainer Zipline. This zipline is similar to a bunny hill at a ski resort - it is shorter and closer to the ground than the rest, giving guests an opportunity to try ziplining before heading onto the bigger lines. After completing the Trainer Zipline, guests can decide not to continue with the tour, but unfortunately no refund is possible at this point. For the Big Zip you'll know once you get to the top! It is a long and fast way down
-
Q. Can I try it out before committing?
A. Unfortunately all guests must commit to participating in our zipline tour before beginning the tour.
-
Q. Can I bring my camera?
A. Cameras are definitely welcome! It is best to ensure your camera has a strap or lanyard - this way our guides can attach your camera to your harness with a carabiner. Please note that the safety of all personal items is not guaranteed.
-
Q. What should I wear?
A. Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing. Skirts and scarves should be avoided. Long hair will need to be tied back. Comfortable closed-toe and closed-heeled shoes are preferred - no sandals, flip flops, dress shoes or high heels. Also...NO CAPES!
-
Q. Is it safe?
A. Adrena LINE’s top priority is the well being of each and every guest who takes part in the tour. All equipment utilized has been engineered and meets or exceeds industry standards to ensure an enjoyable experience for our guests. Our ziplines and platforms are inspected daily and are registered with the Technical Safety BC. In addition, our guides are thoroughly trained in every aspect of working at heights, so you can feel confident you are in good hands while on your tour.
-
Q. How are night tours different?
A. Night Tours are not available at this time Some say that night tours are less scary. Others believe ziplining at night only heightens the fear factor. Either way, guests participating on night tours are outfitted with headlamps to help navigate trails and platforms. Remote lighting on each of our platforms further helps illuminate these areas. The minimum weight for night tours is 60lbs/27kgs (no tandem spaces are possible). Please note that discounts and coupons are not valid for full moon or night zipline tours (including laminated Gift Certificates).
