The position of Course Tech is multi-faceted. Not only do Course Tech’s helps to ensure smooth zipline operations, they are also required to have a working knowledge of technical rescue and extrication procedures. This intensive, hands-on, 2 day training program is designed to further challenge Adrena LINE employees who have shown a willingness, desire and capability to learn advanced skills.
- Rigging aerial platforms for rescue and removal
- Advanced belay and rappelling techniques
- Course evacuations, logistics, and communication
- Team and crisis management
- Patient transport and care
- Operations and planning
- Radio communications
Two days (approximately 16 hours). After completion of their Technical Rescue Training, Course Tech’s are provided with 1 day of Unimog Driver Training and 1 day of Job Function Training. After all training is complete, Course Tech’s will be shadowed during their first shift by the Operations Manager.
